AlarmTune lets you set a custom volume for each alarm independently from your device's system volume. This means your alarm will always play at the volume you choose, even if you turned down your phone's volume before bed.
Make sure you've granted AlarmTune notification permissions. Go to Settings > AlarmTune > Notifications and ensure they're enabled. Also verify the alarm toggle is turned on and the time is set correctly.
AlarmTune uses the audio playback mode, so your alarms will sound even when your phone is on silent. For Do Not Disturb, you may need to add AlarmTune as an exception in your Focus settings.
When creating or editing an alarm, tap the "Sound" row to open the sound picker. You can preview each sound before selecting it.
Fade-in gradually increases the alarm volume from silent to your chosen level over a set duration (1-30 seconds). This provides a gentler wake-up experience instead of a sudden loud alarm.
Long-press on an alarm in the list and select "Delete" from the context menu, or swipe left on the alarm card.
Yes! When editing an alarm, tap "Sound" to open the sound picker, then tap "Choose from Music Library" to select any song from your Apple Music library. You'll need to grant Music Library access first.
In the sound picker, tap "Import from Files" under the Imported Sounds section to select audio files from your Files app. Free users can import up to 1 custom sound. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited imports.
Video Background lets you play a silent looping video behind the alarm screen when your alarm rings. Choose from 4 built-in videos (Sunrise, Morning Coffee, Ocean Waves, Forest) or import your own from Photos or Files. The video plays silently — your alarm sound is controlled separately.
AI Sound Generation creates custom alarm sounds on your device using waveform synthesis. Choose from 4 styles (Calm, Energetic, Nature, Retro) and generate a unique 10-second alarm sound. This feature respects your import quota — free users can generate 1 sound, Premium users have unlimited generation.
Sound Shuffle automatically rotates your alarm sound daily or weekly from the built-in sound library. Enable it in Settings > Sound Shuffle. Choose "Change Daily" or "Change Weekly" to keep your wake-up experience fresh.
Premium unlocks unlimited custom sound imports, unlimited video background imports, and unlimited AI sound generation. Free users can import 1 custom sound and 1 custom video. Upgrade anytime via Settings > Upgrade to Premium.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, or open the App Store app, tap your profile, then tap Subscriptions to cancel or change your plan.
