Summary: We Do Not Collect Your Data

CatchKeeper is designed so that no personal data ever leaves your device. Your catches, photos, fishing spots, and notes are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We operate no servers that store your fishing data, we have no user accounts, and we never sell or share your information.

Data Stored on Your Device

• Catch records — species, weight, length, bait, notes, and photos
• Location data — GPS coordinates of your catches, used to build your private spot map. This data never leaves your device and is never included in shared content unless you explicitly export a file.
• Weather snapshots — fetched from Apple WeatherKit for the times and places of your catches
• Preferences — unit system and settings stored on-device

Third-Party Services

• Apple WeatherKit — used to retrieve weather conditions for your catches. Requests are made to Apple under Apple's privacy policy; CatchKeeper never attaches your identity to these requests.
• Apple StoreKit — used to process the one-time Pro purchase. We never see your payment details.
• Feedback form — if you voluntarily contact us through in-app Contact Support, we receive the name, email, and message you provide, used solely to respond to you.

Data Not Collected

CatchKeeper does not collect: your identity, your contacts, your browsing history, advertising identifiers, precise or coarse location on our servers, usage analytics, or crash diagnostics tied to you. The App Store privacy label for CatchKeeper reads "Data Not Collected."

Children's Privacy

CatchKeeper is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
