How do I detect a surface?
Point your iPhone camera at a flat, well-lit surface (floor, table, ground). Move your device slowly to scan the area. A grid will appear once a surface is detected.
How do I change the grid size?
Tap the grid size buttons at the bottom of the screen. Available sizes range from 0.25m to 10m. Premium users can access all sizes.
How do I take a screenshot?
Tap the camera button at the bottom of the screen. The screenshot will be saved to your Photos app with GPS coordinates (if location access is granted).
How do I change measurement units?
Tap the unit button (showing "m", "ft", "cm", or "in") at the bottom of the screen to switch between meters, feet, centimeters, and inches.
How do I manage my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, or open the App Store and tap your profile. You can cancel or change your subscription there.
Why is AR not working on my device?
GridLens requires an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 17.0+. ARKit is not available on older devices. Devices with LiDAR (iPhone 12 Pro+) provide faster and more accurate plane detection.
How do I restore purchases?
Go to Settings > Restore Purchases in the app, or tap "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen.
