NapStop collects minimal data necessary to provide its core functionality:

• Location Data: NapStop uses your device's GPS to monitor your position relative to your set destination. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Destination Data: The destinations you search for and save are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is never uploaded or shared.
• Alarm History: Records of your past alarms are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted externally.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide GPS-based location alarm functionality
• To calculate distance to your destination
• To trigger approach, arrival, and overshoot alerts
• To display your alarm history

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device. NapStop does not use cloud storage, external databases, or any third-party analytics services. Your data remains on your device at all times.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. NapStop does not integrate with any third-party advertising networks or analytics platforms.

Location Permissions

NapStop requires the following location permissions:

• When In Use: To set up your destination and display distance information.
• Always: To monitor your location in the background and alert you when approaching your destination, even when the app is not actively in use.

You can manage these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app under Privacy & Security > Location Services.

Background Location

NapStop uses background location updates to provide continuous monitoring while you travel. A blue indicator bar will appear when background location is active. This is required for the app to function properly as a location-based alarm.

Children's Privacy

NapStop does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over data retention. You can delete alarm history at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app will remove all stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
