PCOS Cycle

1. Information We Collect

PCOS Cycle collects and stores the following information locally on your device:

Important: All data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. We never transmit, upload, or sync your data to any external server.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• No personal identification: We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifying information.
• No account data: PCOS Cycle requires no account creation—no usernames, passwords, or login credentials.
• No location data: We don't track or store your geographic location.
• No usage analytics: We don't use third-party analytics tools or track how you use the app.
• No advertising identifiers: We don't collect IDFA or any advertising identifiers.
• No biometric data: We don't access Face ID, Touch ID, or health kit data without explicit permission.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's Core Data framework with SQLite database. This means:

• Your data is protected by iOS's built-in encryption when your device is locked.
• Data remains on your device even if you're offline.
• Deleting the app will permanently remove all stored data.
• Data is included in your device backups if you have iCloud or iTunes backups enabled.

We do not have access to your data at any point. There are no servers, no databases, and no cloud infrastructure that could be compromised.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties. Because your data never leaves your device, there's nothing to share.

PCOS Cycle does not integrate with:

• Social media platforms
• Advertising networks
• Analytics services
• Third-party SDKs that collect user data

5. Data Export and Portability

You own your data completely. PCOS Cycle provides a built-in export feature that allows you to:

• Download all your logged cycles and symptoms as a CSV file
• Share the exported file with healthcare providers
• Import the data into other applications
• Keep a personal backup of your health records

To export your data, go to Settings > Export Data (CSV) within the app.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You have complete control over your data retention:

• Delete individual entries: Tap on any logged day and select "Delete This Log"
• Delete all data: Go to Settings > Delete All Data to permanently remove everything
• Uninstall the app: Removing PCOS Cycle from your device will delete all associated data

Warning: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. We have no backup of your data and cannot restore it once deleted.

7. Notifications

PCOS Cycle uses local notifications for period and fertile window reminders. These notifications:

• Are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device
• Do not require internet connectivity
• Can be customized or disabled in Settings
• Never transmit any data externally

8. Children's Privacy

PCOS Cycle is designed for users of all ages who menstruate. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we don't collect any data from users at all, our app is inherently COPPA-compliant.

9. Your Rights Under Privacy Laws

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

• California (CCPA): Right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale (though we don't sell data)
• European Union (GDPR): Right to access, rectification, erasure, and data portability
• Other jurisdictions: Similar rights may apply under local privacy laws

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly through the app's settings without needing to contact us.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

11. Medical Disclaimer

PCOS Cycle is a health tracking tool, not a medical device. The predictions and insights provided by the app are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
