Data Storage & Security

Your pantry data is stored locally on your device. When iCloud sync is enabled, data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. We do not have access to your synced data.

Third-Party Services

PantrySync uses the following third-party services:

• Open Food Facts API: For barcode lookup (no personal data is sent)
• Apple iCloud/CloudKit: For data synchronization (encrypted, your account only)
• Apple In-App Purchase: For subscription management

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties except as described in this policy.

Data Retention

You can delete your data at any time by deleting items within the app or deleting your account. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.

Children's Privacy

PantrySync is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
