TL;DR: SafeCycle collects absolutely no data. Your health information never leaves your device. We cannot see your data because we never built the infrastructure to receive it.
We collect nothing. Period.
SafeCycle does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any personal information. All data you enter stays exclusively on your device.
All health data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and encrypted with AES-256-GCM via CryptoKit. Your data is protected by:
SafeCycle has zero network permissions. The app cannot connect to the internet, send data to servers, or communicate with any external service. This is enforced at the iOS system level.
SafeCycle uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. There are no SDKs from Google, Facebook, or any other data-harvesting company in this app.
You can export your data as an encrypted backup file for personal safekeeping. This export is initiated by you, saved to a location you choose, and encrypted with your personal key. We never have access to this file.
You can delete all your data at any time from within the app (Settings > Delete All Data). Deleting the app also removes all data permanently.
SafeCycle does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk of collecting children's information.
Because we collect no data and have no servers, we have nothing to provide to law enforcement, even if compelled. Your data exists only on your device, protected by your PIN and biometric authentication.
If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update this page. Any change that reduces your privacy will be clearly communicated.
