Our Privacy Principle

TripZip is designed to collect as little data as possible. Your travel plans are yours alone. We do not include analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking of any kind.

What Stays on Your Device

All of your trips, activities, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your travel data, and we do not upload it. Deleting the app deletes your data.

AI Features

• On-device AI: On supported devices (iOS 26 or later), itinerary generation runs locally with Apple Intelligence. Your prompts and results stay on your device.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): If you configure your own AI provider in Settings, your requests are sent directly from your device to the endpoint you choose. Your API key is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. We never see the content of your AI requests.

What We Collect

TripZip itself collects no analytics, no usage data, no device information, and no crash reports.

The only data we ever receive is what you voluntarily send us through the in-app "Contact Us" form (your name, email address, and message), which is used solely to respond to your support request.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details. Purchase status is verified on your device through Apple's StoreKit.

Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. If you use the BYOK feature, the only third party involved is the AI provider you personally configure, under that provider's own privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

TripZip does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes, we will update the date above and publish the new policy on this page.
