Divvy Support

Getting Started

• Add a holding: Tap the + button, type a ticker symbol (e.g., AAPL), select from autocomplete, enter your share count, and tap Done.
• View dividends: The Home dashboard shows your estimated monthly dividend income with an animated number.
• Check the calendar: Tap the Calendar tab to see ex-dividend and pay dates for each month.
• Forecast income: Tap the Forecast tab to view a 12-month projection and DRIP compound growth simulator.

Pro Features

Divvy offers a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase ($19.99) that unlocks:

• Unlimited holdings (free tier: 5 holdings)
• DRIP Simulator (1/5/10-year compound growth)
• Ex-dividend alerts (3 days before each ex-date)
• 1099-DIV tax export (PDF summary)
• Unlimited AI calls (safety scores, Q&A, cut warnings, benchmarks)

A 3-day free trial is available for all Pro features.

AI Insights

AI features include dividend safety scores, cut warnings, industry benchmarks, and portfolio Q&A.

• Apple Intelligence (Free tier): On iOS 26+ devices with Apple Intelligence, AI works at no cost. Free users get 3 AI calls per day.
• BYO API Key (Unlimited): Bring your own API key (GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, or DeepSeek) in Settings → AI Insights. Unlimited AI usage — you pay your provider directly.
• Pro purchase ($19.99 one-time, or $1.99/mo / $9.99/yr): Unlocks unlimited AI calls plus all Pro features.

Manage Subscriptions

If you subscribed to Divvy Pro AI (Monthly or Yearly), you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

• Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
• Tap your Apple ID at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Find Divvy and tap it
• Choose to cancel or change your subscription

Cancellation policy: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Canceling a subscription does not refund the current period — you retain access until the period ends.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstall Divvy or switch devices, tap Settings → Restore Purchases to recover your Lifetime Pro and subscription entitlements.

Tax Export (1099-DIV)

To export your dividend tax summary:

• Go to Settings → Tax Reports
• Tap Export 1099-DIV (Current Year)
• A PDF will be generated and opened in the system share sheet
• Save to Files, send via Mail, or AirDrop to your accountant

Note: This export is for informational purposes only. Consult a tax professional for filing.

Privacy & Data

Divvy is local-first. Your portfolio data is stored on your device using SwiftData. If you enable iCloud Sync, data is stored in your private iCloud. No data is ever sent to developer servers.

API keys for AI features are stored in the iOS Keychain and never leave your device. AI queries go directly from your device to your chosen AI provider.
