Download SkinStreak from the App Store, then complete the short onboarding: pick your skin type, your goal, your Fitzpatrick phototype (I–VI), and scan one product you already use. You'll land on the Tonight page with a routine ready to check off.
Every product you add is checked against a local database of 200+ rules (for example, Retinol × Benzoyl Peroxide). The check runs entirely on your device and takes a fraction of a second. When a clash is found, you get a card explaining the mechanism, the evidence grade, and two choices: "Separate them" (SkinStreak moves one product to the opposite session) or "Use anyway". The conflict engine is free forever — it is never paywalled.
Ingredient data comes from Open Beauty Facts, a community database. If a barcode has no match, tap "Enter manually" to search by product name, or add the product with its name only. You can still run conflict checks by entering key ingredients manually.
Life happens. If you miss a day, your next check-in automatically uses one Streak Freeze card (you get 2 per month) to restore your streak instead of resetting it. Missed days never produce red, shaming messages — a fresh streak starts with "Day 1 — every glow-up starts here."
On your device, by default. The guided selfie flow (with the alignment frame and LightGuard light check) and all skin metrics — redness, texture, spots — are computed on-device. Your photos stay local unless you explicitly upload one.
Only for the optional weekly deep scan, and only after you confirm — SkinStreak asks "upload this one photo?" before every single upload. If you say no, the daily on-device analysis still works. Biometric data is never linked to your identity.
Free users get 2 deep AI scans per week on a rolling 7-day window (shown as two dots under the shutter). Pro subscribers get unlimited deep scans. The quota never restricts the conflict engine, barcode scanning, check-ins, or photos.
Pro adds unlimited deep AI scans, AI smart scheduling (conflict avoidance + skin cycling calendar), the weekly Proof report with trend attribution, photo comparison export/share, iCloud sync, and widgets. Free features are never disabled on Pro — they are simply always free.
You can cancel anytime — you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Two ways:
Or visit https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions in any browser signed in with your Apple ID.
The trial is attached to the Pro Annual plan. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts into the paid $19.99/year subscription. SkinStreak sends you a local notification 24 hours before the trial ends — no silent rebills. If the trial lapses without a purchase, the app automatically falls back to the Free tier, and your free features are never disabled.
You keep Pro until the end of your current billing period. After that, SkinStreak automatically reverts to the Free tier: the conflict engine, barcode scanning, check-ins, streaks, and 2 deep scans per week keep working. Nothing you created is deleted.
Open SkinStreak → Settings → Restore Purchases. This restores any Pro subscription or your SkinStreak Forever purchase linked to your Apple ID.
Same features. Yearly works out to about $1.67/month versus $3.99 monthly — it's the main plan and the transparent alternative to the weekly-subscription apps in this category.
SkinStreak Forever is a one-time $39.99 purchase that unlocks all Pro features forever, with one difference: AI features run through your own GLM API key instead of our shared channel. The setup flow appears right after purchase. Your key is stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain — it is never sent to us. You are responsible for your own API key usage and any costs your provider charges you.
Open SkinStreak → Settings → Delete all my data. One tap — after confirmation — permanently removes all records, streaks, reports, and locally stored face photos from your device. Illinois residents: see our Privacy Policy for your rights regarding face geometry under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA).
See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored, what is processed on-device, and what (if anything) is uploaded.
