NavFocus is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide our navigation services:

• Location Data: We access your device's GPS to provide real-time navigation, turn-by-turn directions, and proximity alerts. Location data is processed on-device in real time and is not stored on our servers.
• User Preferences: Settings such as reminder frequency, volume, and haptic preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.
• Feedback Data: When you voluntarily submit feedback through the Contact Support feature, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message content. This data is transmitted securely to our feedback service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Location Data: Used exclusively to calculate routes, provide navigation instructions, and deliver turn reminders and transit alerts.
• User Preferences: Used to personalize your navigation experience within the app.
• Feedback Data: Used to respond to your support requests and improve our app.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your location data with any third parties. Feedback data is processed through our secure Cloudflare Workers backend and is only accessible to our support team.

4. Data Storage and Security

Location data is processed in real time on your device and is not persisted. User preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. Feedback submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a secure Cloudflare D1 database.

5. Third-Party Services

NavFocus uses Apple's native MapKit framework for maps and routing. Apple's privacy policy applies to any data processed by MapKit. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

6. Children's Privacy

NavFocus is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
