Getting Started
- Open ParkPing and complete the onboarding.
- Tap a duration preset (1h, 2h, 4h, 8h) or choose a custom duration.
- Tap START to begin the parking timer.
- You'll receive a notification 5 minutes before expiry and when time's up.
- Tap I'm Back when you return to your car to stop the timer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is ParkPing free?
Yes! ParkPing is free to download and use. The free tier includes one active timer (up to 2 hours) and today's parking history. PRO is a one-time $3.99 purchase that unlocks unlimited timers, Live Activity, widgets, and more.
Does ParkPing require a subscription?
No. ParkPing will never ask you to subscribe. PRO is a one-time purchase — pay once, use forever.
How do I restore my PRO purchase?
- Open ParkPing and go to Settings.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
- Your PRO features will be restored immediately.
Why don't I see Live Activity or Dynamic Island?
Live Activity requires PRO and is available on iPhone 14 Pro and later. Make sure Live Activities are enabled in Settings → ParkPing.
How do I find my car?
While a timer is active, tap the menu (⋯) in the top right and select Save Location. Then use Find My Car to open Apple Maps directions.
How do street sweeping reminders work?
Go to Settings → Street Sweeping Reminders. Choose the day(s) and time, and you'll get a weekly notification to move your car. This is a PRO feature.
Can I use Siri to start a timer?
Yes! Say "Hey Siri, I parked with ParkPing" to start a 2-hour timer. You can customize the duration in the Shortcuts app.
Notifications Not Working?
- Go to Settings → ParkPing on your iPhone.
- Make sure Notifications are enabled.
- Enable Time Sensitive Notifications for parking alerts.
