How do I get started?

Download PrecondAI from the App Store, connect your Tesla account, and set up your first schedule. The app will guide you through the setup process.

Which vehicles are supported?

Currently, PrecondAI supports Tesla vehicles via the Tesla Fleet API. We're working on adding support for other EV brands including Ford, BMW, and more through Smartcar integration.

Why isn't my preconditioning starting?

Check the following:

• Ensure your vehicle is connected and online
• Verify your schedule is enabled
• Check that battery protection isn't preventing start (if unplugged with low battery)
• Make sure Background App Refresh is enabled in iOS Settings

How does weather-aware scheduling work?

PrecondAI checks real-time weather conditions and adjusts your preconditioning start time automatically. In extreme cold, it starts earlier to ensure your cabin reaches the target temperature by your departure time. On mild days, it starts later to save battery.

Is my vehicle data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and never store your Tesla credentials. All API tokens are securely stored in your device's Keychain. We only access the data necessary to control climate and read battery status.

How do I manage my subscription?

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Find PrecondAI and tap it
5. Choose "Cancel Subscription" or change your plan

How do I restore my purchases?

Open PrecondAI, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Your subscription will be restored if you previously purchased it.

What's the difference between Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime?

All plans offer the same premium features:

• Monthly ($2.99/mo): 7-day free trial, cancel anytime
• Yearly ($19.99/yr): 1-month free trial, save 44% vs monthly
• Lifetime ($49.99): One-time purchase, use forever, no subscription needed

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You can continue using premium features until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll revert to the free version with limited features (1 vehicle, 1 schedule).

What is the Lifetime plan?

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase of $49.99 that gives you permanent access to all premium features without any recurring subscription. It's the best value if you plan to use PrecondAI for more than 1.5 years.

I bought Lifetime but it's not showing

Go to Settings in the PrecondAI app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your Lifetime access will be restored.

Can I switch from subscription to Lifetime?

Yes! You can purchase Lifetime at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, then Lifetime takes over automatically.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are processed through Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly through your purchase history or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
