SnapLedger is built privacy-first. We collect NO personal data. All your financial information stays on your device by default.

5. Vision OCR Framework

SnapLedger uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to recognize text on receipts. All OCR processing happens locally on your device. Receipt images and recognized text are never transmitted to any server — including Apple's servers. The Vision framework runs entirely on-device using the Neural Engine.

6. Mileage Tracking (CoreLocation)

If you use the mileage tracking feature, SnapLedger requests access to your device's GPS to calculate trip distances. Location data is processed on-device only and is never transmitted. We only store:

10. Children's Privacy

SnapLedger is rated 4+ on the App Store and is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, COPPA requirements are satisfied by design.

11. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

12. App Privacy Report (Apple)

On the App Store, SnapLedger's App Privacy Report declares "Data Not Collected" across all categories. This means:
