WiBeam ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WiBeam iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
WiBeam was built privacy-first. The App is fully offline — there is no server, no database, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking. The only network requests the App makes are to Apple's StoreKit servers (to verify in-app purchases) and Apple's CloudKit (only if you opt in to iCloud Sync).
We do not collect any personal information. Specifically:
Because we do not collect personal information, we have no information to use, sell, or share. There is no ad network, no data broker, no third-party tracker anywhere in the App.
WiBeam offers in-app purchases (Monthly, Annual subscription, and Lifetime) processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. Purchase records, billing, and refund requests are managed by Apple — WiBeam does not see your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID credentials. Apple sends WiBeam only a cryptographic transaction receipt that confirms a purchase was made — no personal data.
If you subscribe to Pro and turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, your WiFi network list (SSIDs, security type, notes, colors, expiry dates) syncs across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. Passwords are not synced — they remain in each device's local Keychain, and you must re-enter them on each new device.
iCloud Sync uses your private CloudKit database, accessible only to you via your Apple ID. WiBeam cannot read your synced data — it goes directly between your devices through Apple's infrastructure.
If you enable Biometric Lock (Pro feature), WiBeam asks iOS to authenticate you with Face ID or Touch ID before unlocking the App. WiBeam never receives, stores, or processes your biometric data — Apple's LocalAuthentication framework handles everything on the Secure Enclave.

Delete a WiFi network inside WiBeam and its password is also removed from the Keychain. Uninstall the App to remove all stored data immediately.
WiBeam is a utility App, not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Apple's App Store rates WiBeam 4+.
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no data to access, export, or delete on our servers. To exercise data rights over information stored on your device, use iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → WiBeam → Delete App.
If you have enabled iCloud Sync, your synced WiFi metadata lives in your private CloudKit database. Manage or delete it via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → WiBeam.
The App uses the following Apple frameworks. Each is governed by Apple's own privacy policy:
The App contains no other third-party SDKs, libraries, trackers, or analytics tools.
If you contact us via Settings → Contact Support in the App, your message (including any name, email, subject, and message you provide) is sent to our feedback service over HTTPS. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list or sell your contact information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in a future App update.
