We're here to help you get the most out of WiBeam.
Welcome to WiBeam! Here's how to share your first WiFi network in three taps:
Guests scan the QR code with their phone's camera and connect automatically — no password typing required.
Yes. WiBeam generates standard WiFi QR codes (per ISO/IEC 18004) that any modern phone camera can scan — iPhone, Android, and Windows. The recipient doesn't need WiBeam installed.
Passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain with kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly protection. They never leave your device, never get logged, and (optionally) require Face ID or Touch ID to read. WiBeam has no server — there's nothing to hack. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The free tier is designed for casual home use. If you manage multiple networks (multiple homes, an Airbnb, a small business), upgrade to Pro for unlimited networks, iCloud sync, home-screen widgets, custom QR colors, biometric lock, and more.
All three unlock identical Pro features. Monthly ($1.99/mo, 7-day free trial) is the most flexible. Annual ($14.99/yr) saves you 37%. Lifetime ($9.99, one-time) is pay-once-use-forever — perfect if you dislike subscriptions.
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime — you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period:
If you don't see Cancel, the subscription is already cancelled and won't renew.
Open WiBeam → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID used to buy. All Pro features unlock automatically. Lifetime purchases and active subscriptions transfer across devices signed into the same Apple ID.
Yes — Pro subscribers can enable iCloud Sync in Settings. All networks (excluding passwords, which stay in per-device Keychain) sync automatically. Passwords must be re-entered on each new device for security.
Open any saved network → tap the Share button → choose Print. WiBeam generates a print-optimized QR poster with your network name and connection instructions. Pro feature.
Pro users can set an expiry date on any QR code. After the expiry, the QR code still displays but guests will not be able to connect — ideal for Airbnb, hotels, or temporary event WiFi. To set it up, edit a network and enable Timed Access.
\ ; , : ") — WiBeam auto-escapes these per ISO/IEC 18004, but some older Android phones mis-parse them. Try re-typing the password manually.WiBeam offers the following in-app purchases through Apple's App Store:
